Our story began with my father, Tim Hellaby Sr. After getting out of the United States Marines Corps, my father went to work for the Grand Strand's finest Encore Videos Productions Inc. Founded by the late Richard "Rik" Dickinson.

My father was the audio designer for Encore Videos, placing microphones on people like Stephen Colbert, then-Vice President Joe Biden, and the late Senator Paul McCain. He would come home and tell stories of the great work the team was doing. One of his traditions was to sit through the credits for every film. To this day, even for non-Marvel movies, I sit through the credits of movies reading the names of the men and women who put so much into the art of filmmaking.

A New Production Company

As a film enthusiast, it has been a dream of mine to produce, direct and create movies. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I was blessed to be given time to reflect on where I wanted to take my life. I was able to write my first novel, Crashing Waves, and a Collection of Poems & Short Stories. However, that did not scratch my itch for storytelling. I wanted to take my stories and the stories of others onto the big screen (or small screen for streaming).

Now you may be thinking... Aren't there awful, dreadful, and horrible movies? Do we consider those art?

Yes.

Yes, we do.

We believe that everyone who has a passion for filmmaking should have the opportunity to attempt to make their ideas into film. Most importantly, we want to be a creative place where small businesses can come and make professional-looking commercials and advertising to compete with the million-dollar companies.
